A little bubble
Freedom, that only God can give for some is an unknown way of living and being. That freedom may even be scary. Particularly if you are a person that needs firm boundaries, outcomes and results. You might need to know what is expected of you and what will happen when you meet those expectations.
A little bubble bursting coming your way. A life and relationship with God is not all of that.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
To receive this freedom we need the capacity to trust. Trusting God with the directions and answers in our lives. Trusting that all things will actually turn out for our good.
The bubble may be burst, but the God of all freedom is real. Freedom is a journey of trust.
“I will lead blind Israel down a new path,
guiding them along an unfamiliar way.
I will brighten the darkness before them
and smooth out the road ahead of them.
Yes, I will indeed do these things;
I will not forsake them.” Isaiah 42:16 NLT
