Grace to go
Anyone who knows me will tell you I ask questions, a lot. Questions are key to exploring life and having good relationships.
Which leads me to a fellow question asker - Paul and the book of Romans. He was stunning man turning from Saul the persecutor of Christians to Paul the evangelist to the Gentiles. Romans is my go-to for the fundamentals of living a Kingdom life. So would you come with me to Romans 10:5-21 nlt and a feast of questions?
In verses 5 to 13, Paul quotes Moses and the law then explains how the law has been replaced by Jesus. Then my favourite questions start,
v14 ‘How can people call on God unless they believe in him? How can they believe in him if they’ve never heard about him? How can they hear about him unless someone tells them? How can anyone tell them unless they go? How can anyone go unless they’re sent?’
The simple answer - Gods grace, Gods grace to go.
Think about those questions in your own personal context, what would your own answers be? Share your answers and we’ll explore this a little more next time.
