Take the Quill 6 week challenge

In your Quill journal write a letter to yourself. In that letter agree with God to giving at least one gift, that we talked about and writing one “letter” for different people every week for six weeks.

Keep them simple, giving and encouraging.  At the end of the six weeks look back on your experience and write a letter to yourself. Write about who God sent across your path. The things that impacted you. The things that challenged or even changed you.

Are you the same “letter” you were when you started?

Finally, write a letter to God thanking him for the gift of the six weeks and what its meant to you.

The Quill in Action challenge.

This is a daily challenge. Pick a Quill day and practice being your letter, or decide make the quill a part of how you choose to live. Make your own Quill & live it.

What do you do?

Choose a simple mug for yourself and one for someone else and arrange to share a cuppa, on a park bench, walking on the beach, morning picnic style on the lounge room floor - and talk.

Write an actual letter to someone to encourage, inspire, or simply thank them. Hand deliver it to their letterbox. Or get together with some friends and practice your ‘gift giving’, write letters and cards together. Be honest, hear and see, be present.

Writing letters, whatever their form can change lives, including your own.

Share your stories, listen to others, write the letters, give the gifts. And don’t forget to thank God for making you unique.

p.s. you’re doing great, proud of you
