Freedom Boundaries 4- Presence

God gave the Israelites another form of freedom boundary. It was the construction of the tent of meeting. God gave detailed instructions to Moses to direct the people in preparing him a place “to be”, a place God would rest and meet His people. Exodus Chapters 35-40 NLT

Those details, followed out, would secure God’s presence in God’s way. Boundaries that established a ‘meeting place’.

God’s presence in our lives is crucial to a life well lived in the will of God.

Every season in God usually needs some kind of boundary change, an adjustment to include and exclude. Today like the Israelites we are no different, and need these ‘meeting place’ boundaries in our lives. Taking the time with him, asking how he wants you to build your ‘meeting place’ is part of a personal relationship with God. Being able to sit down and listen and to then act adjusting to the present seasons needs. It may take a bit of time to get used to seeking God for boundaries when we so often are fighting Him on them. Give yourself the time to get use to it as this act can be life giving in unimaginable ways.
