How to Seek

Seek God with unreserved honesty and a surrendered heart

Jeremiah says if we seek whole heartedly we will find God. What does wholehearted mean? It’s more of an attitude than just one thing. Simply put, seek Him with unreserved, complete honesty, sincerity, commitment and a heart unconditionally surrendered to God.

It’s an attitude that develops into a characteristic that develops as you seek, as you pursue God over your lifetime. It’s also an attitude that requires the Holy Spirit being active in your relationship. That consistent relinquishing of personal control in exchange for his revelation and presence. Its a place that leaves no doubt or ambiguity about you unshakable belief that God is God.

Finally it’s getting to that place where you know God is love, is faithful, is trustworthy, is your friend and you’re committed, no matterwhat comes your way. He’s got you, you are His. It come over time. He asks you to seek Him so you can find all that He is.
