Starting the seek journey

The first step of deeper seeking is being still

Be still and know that I am God Psalm46:10 nlt

We need a place to seek from. A place of inner stillness where we can encounter the Spirit of God. One where you seek him with “B’chol L’vav’cha” - Hebrew for “with all your heart” Deuteronomy 6:5 nlt

It’s a place where our focus is God, where our minds are ready to receive revelations, new perspectives and Gods deepest secrets (1 Corinthians 2:9-10 nlt). Where the focus is not on ourselves, our backgrounds, backstories our mistakes or life right now. A place where our minds aren’t consumed or filled with expectations, life obligations, have too’s, deadlines or control. A place where we are willing to relinquish everything that preoccupies us. Assuming a posture of stillness and attitude of yielding over to God and letting his presence enfold you so that He can begin to unpack who He is in a very personal way.

Mostly, the place we seek from is where we let go of the grip we have on circumstances, fighting in our own strength and where we trust Gods power. Where we are utterly convinced that God is God, and we need more of him.
