Fresh Rain

Rain - refreshing, abundance, faithfulness, downpour, grace, blessing, life bringing, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit that hovered over the waters at the beginning, the power of creation waiting to move in Genesis 1:2 nlt. The Spirit that came as a roaring windstorm that settled on the people meeting together at Pentecost Acts 2:2 nlt. And the same Spirit that dwells in us at Salvation 2 Corinthians 3:8 nlt. The overflow of the presence of God.

The Holy Spirit rises up in us when we worship God with our lives, the ‘personal’ side. The raining down from God that brings the overflow that reaches others, the ‘others’ side. When the rising up meets the raining down the fuel and fire in us becomes abundantly obvious to anyone in our sphere of influence. Every place we enter, every step we take, every breath we breathe, overflows with the presence of God opening up opportunities, maturity, wisdom, the extraordinary for his Glory to be seen and experienced.

It doesn’t take human effort to live this life of abundance, it comes from developing your deepest, most intimate relationship with God. Developing a Kingdom perspective, a servant heart, and surrendering everything - absolutely everything - to him, understanding that this is the freedom we inherit when we give our lives to him. Take some time to do a self-check and refresh yourself in him. Let him overflow in your life and all the spaces you inhabit.
