beyond

God is God

potently, elegantly simple

“in the beginning, God…”

before space and time God

“in the beginning God created…”

before that there was nothing

in the beginning God created the heavens, the earth and water, it was dark, nothing had any form or shape

in the nothing there was everything that was needed for something, waiting

then…

“Let there be…”

and there was everything humans would need to live abundantly with God

then God created humans

he created them last, once everything he had for them was present in the place he created for them

God is beyond us, our understanding, our dreams, our imagination, our comprehension

his way of being God is beyond us

and yet, we get to have a relationship with him

that, is BEYOND
